With four teams in the Top Ten and five total in the Top Twenty all I can think to say is I'm glad my old alma mater isn't in the Big 12. Yes, I know the Southeastern is tough, but is it as competitive as the Big 12? Or how about the Big 10? Or Atlantic Coast? Your thoughts? (BTW, TCU has to deal with both BYU and Utah but I'm being realistic about my Purple & White. I know they aren't in the same class as the Big 12.) Betotron, the problem with having so many powerhouses in one conference, be it the Big 12, Big 10 or SEC, is that they have to play each other, too. Which makes it a hell of a lot more difficult to go undefeated. John, you're obviously an SEC fan. I really didn't expect much out of LSU this year and think they're rated too high. But Alabama, Georgia and Florida still have a shot at the BCS title game. Bama is certainly a major surprize to me I'll have admit. It's kind of hard to imagine they'll go undefeated, though.
